What spray coatings can be used on stainless steel water bottles and what are their effects?

Interested readers may be eager to know what spray coating processes are used for stainless steel water cups? Probably because they don’t know how to answer customers. Although this message reminds me of the time when I first entered the industry, I sincerely hoped that someone could guide me and answer any unclear questions. The Internet was not that developed at that time, so a lot of knowledge took an unknown amount of time to accumulate.

Spray paint, stainless steel water cup: Spray paint can currently be divided into three main types: What we call multi-layered spray paint is easy to understand, because its finished coating is shiny. Unlike ordinary matte paint, the finished coating is smooth, but the luster of stainless steel has more of a matte effect. Spray hand paint, the finished hand paint is very similar to matte paint, but the feel is different. Currently, the surfaces of water bottles sprayed with hand paint on the domestic market are basically matte.

Oil spraying, also called spray varnish, is also divided into glossy and matte. The overall effect of oil spraying is mainly colorless. It is mainly used after matching with stripes to protect the pattern and increase the adhesion.

Powder spraying is also called plastic spraying. Many factory technicians have misunderstandings. They think that powder spraying and plastic spraying are not the same process. In fact, they are the same. The material for spraying is simply called plastic powder, and this kind of plastic powder is divided into many types, so it is called powder spraying or plastic spraying for short. Materials sprayed in different places also have different thicknesses. Generally, products with thicker plastic powder will have a stronger texture if they are sprayed more frequently. If the plastic powder is very fine, the final production effect can be the same as spray paint, but the powder coating must be very wear-resistant and stronger.

Spray ceramic paint. The surface of the finished ceramic paint made of environmentally friendly materials is smooth, wear-resistant, easy to clean and leaves no residue. However, spraying ceramic paint requires high-temperature baking, so many factories that can spray and powder spray cannot process it without high-temperature ovens.

Spray Teflon, Teflon materials also have different thicknesses. Fine Teflon is usually used for spraying on water cups. The finished product has strong adhesive force and is very resistant to rubbing and scratching. Similarly, the finished paint is made of hard material and has strong resistance to beating. It also requires high-temperature baking like spray ceramic paint.

Enamel, also called enamel, requires a temperature of at least 700°C to be processed. After processing, the hardness exceeds all the above-mentioned processes and at the same time increases the service life of the water cup.

Due to material problems and production cost issues, the Teflon spraying process was gradually abandoned by major brands after it existed on the market for a certain period of time. In addition to this process, other processes are currently widely used in major markets around the world.
